The statements of D. Trump on a numberof topical issues on the international agenda, made by him during the election campaign, are analyzed. The acute reaction to the assessments of the state of affairs and proposals of the U.S. European allies in this regard, as well as the reasons for interest to D. Trump from Russian politicians and the expert community and some other aspects of the current international situation, are separately considered. The phenomenon of D.
