Abstract
Having considered the entrepreneurial potential of the additive technologies market the authors emphasize their increasing importance in the restructuring of production processes and consider them as the basis for the transition of industry to a new technological mode formation. The article examines the main trends in the development of additive technologies, as potential factors contributing to the increase in the competitiveness of the U.S. manufacturing.
