Abstract
The article analyzes the situation in Afghanistan where despite massive expansion of the strength of American armed forces, creation of numerous Afghan national security forces, large-scale civilian construction under President Barack Obama, the USA failed to solve general problems of the country after 13 years of war. Special targets were: to defeat Taliban, to drastically decrease corruption of state officials, to stop giant drug growing, production and traffic. The current withdrawal of the overwhelming majority of American and NATO forces from the country generates the situation, when the future of Afghanistan is becoming uncertain at large degree.
