Abstract
The article analyses the trends of foreign trade in agricultural products and foreign trade component of the system of state regulation of the U.S. agrarian sector. The role of foreign trade, especially exports, as a factor in the prosperity of the agricultural sector has increased significantly over the past few decades. This is quite a reasonable interest in the state regulating of this sector. The result of this attention was the creation of one of the priority directions of the agrarian policy of the state of foreign trade. The peculiarity of its development in this century was the emphasis on the principles of "free" global trade - the refusal of the measures of protectionism and freedom of movement of goods between countries. To implement this strategy, the United States is an active participant in international multilateral trade and economic agreements. This, combined with an effective system of other measures of agricultural foreign trade policy (export credits, food aid, humanitarian, technical and educational assistance programs, modern information and intelligence system, foreign offices, etc.) is one of the most important keys to successful development of the agricultural sector of the country.
