Abstract
The article examines the structure of the Canadian economy and analyzes its evolution in 2006-2016. Over the past decade, the main changes in the structure of the Canadian economyhave been associated with a decline in the role of manufacturing sector and the outpacing growth of the real estate and financial sectors. At the same time, since the second half of 2010s the share of the services sector has stopped growing, which may indicate the beginning of reindustrialization of the Canadian economy. As for the share of the public sector, after experiencing a certain increase in the crisis and post-crisis years it has returned to approximately the same level as seen in Canada before the global economic crisis. Evolution of the Canadian economy' sectoral structure in the coming years will depend on a number of factors including the fate of reindustrialization, outcome of residential real estate boom, and stability of the financial system in case of turbulence in international capital market and at home.
