Abstract
The peculiarities of U.S. conservative think tanks’ approaches to Russia presented by the American Enterprise Institute and the Heritage Foundation are considered. The conclusions about the reasons for hostile perception of Russia, Russian implicit phobia, the condemnation of its initiatives as well as the arguments for defending its stance are made.
