Abstract
The article is devoted to the peculiarities of formation and development of the U.S. military counter-intelligence from its beginnings in the period when the insurgents faced the need to resist the British Secret Service, who tried not only to locate the place of "rebel" forces concentration, but also to disorganize their economic basics and elements of business infrastructure in general.
