Abstract
The participation of women in the modern electoral process in the race for the top positions in the state requires certain objective prerequisites, including a high level of gender equality established in society due to deliberate state policy; expansion and strengthening of women's economic empowerment; a high level of political culture and an active women's democratic movement. Do the American Women themselves want to fight for the presidency?
