Abstract
The article shows that despite considerable de-jure reduction of chances to bribe lawmakers directly, corruptive nature of the American statehood persists. It runs in the structural organization of the Washington political-bureaucratic elite as solid tripartite alliances of high ranking bureaucrats of government executive departments, members of Congress and lobbyists.
