Abstract
The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the coverage of the international political conflicts by the worldwide informational television networks and to the significance of the bias in media and it’s influence on the public opinion. Taking as an example the interpretation of the story around the «Flotilla of Freedom» by the CNN, we reveal the main factors that cause biased presentation of facts and it’s consequences for the public.
